Beautiful place

We enjoyed our stay here. We had 3 couples and plenty of room. We spent our days riding UTVs and then unwinded in the evening at the cabin.

Cozy woodland lodge

My wife and I and our adult son stayed 10 nights in July/August for a nearby family gathering. The lodge was beautiful, spacious (bigger than we needed!), clean, comfortable, quiet and very well equipped -- we were easily able to prepare lasagne for 14 in the kitchen. The location is quiet with convenient access to nearby activities and amenities, but it all requires some driving. Unfortunately a combination of heat and Canadian wildfire smoke kept us from enjoying the extensive outside spaces much, but the AC system was a lifesaver. Communication and logistics were seamless.Our only real concern was that the water, though conditioned and tested, smelled a bit off, and left some orange iron stains on white items when we did laundry.

Beautiful location for Family time

Unfortunately a funeral brought the family to this beautiful property, it was calming and relaxing. We enjoyed fires around the fire pit and meals on the deck. Great to reconnect family from across the country.

We had a great time! The cabin was made up so cute. We loved the attention to detail, cleanliness and the comfortable, cozy feeling we had everytime we entered. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was beautiful and so clean, so many extras in the kitchen and around the property in general. The fireplace kept our chilly weekend nice and cozy. Hopefully, we will be back in the fall.

Beautiful cabin

The cabin was beautiful, tastefully decorated (even had a small Christmas tree), and clean. The drive and steps were nicely cleared after a recent snowfall. It was close to many cross country skiing and snowshoeing trails.

Wonderful stay in Northern Wisconsin

Traveled with immediate family including 2 children under 4 and 2 sets of grandparents. We had a wonderful time! The cabin/property was outstanding and we greatly enjoyed the quiet time in the northwoods, grilling out, and campfires. Nice mix of activities available in neighboring Hayward, Duluth, and other small towns. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home

The property was great we just didn’t have time to appreciate it since we were attending a funeral, the yard was great but unfortunately the mosquitoes just hatched and couldn’t be outside. We would recommend this rental very much!

Birkie Week Oasis!

This was our second year staying here for the Birkie weekend. We plan on staying here indefinitely for Birkie weekend, sorry to those hoping to book it for Birkie 😉 We have a group of 8 and it’s such a great space. Kitchen is well stocked for a group that large that cooks a lot. The bedrooms are cozy and provide a quiet respite. The common areas are great for everyone to hang out together. The gas and wood fireplaces are such a great bonus, as well as the jacuzzi! Hosts are very communicative, kind, and easy to work with. Book your stay here! (Except Birkie week!)

Just What the Dr. ordered!

This property was everything it was described as. My wife and I and our 2 canine companions thoroughly enjoyed our week here. After a year plus of pretty much working and staying close to home due to COVID, we really needed a get away, and this was just the place for that get away! Quiet surroundings, very comfortable inside and out. We enjoyed just sitting on the deck playing cards and hanging in the lodge at night to catch up on our favorite shows and movies. During the days, we took our dogs to several nearby hiking trails and gave them (and us) a good workout. The nearby trails are many, and they gave us the opportunity to see some great scenery (Lake Trego, Namakagon River, Stone Lake, and more!). Cindy was very helpful and responsive throughout the process, although once there, we really didn’t need to call on her for anything as she had thought of everything already. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will ever need to make some great meals while there. We actually never ate out once.. we brought food for the week, and ate like kings and queens..... (steaks/burgers/chops/kabobs) all cooked on the great Weber gas grill on the deck. While it was just the 2 of us and the pups this trip, this lodge would be a fantastic gathering place for larger groups as it has 4 beautiful bedrooms and 2 large, full bathrooms! Thank you Cindy & Scott for allowing us to use your wonderful lodge for the week, It was just what the Doctor ordered! Paul & Claudia

Friends Getaway

This was our second time staying at this cabin. It is really great, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the windows really needed a cleaning and there wasn't enough TP for our group for the stay. Otherwise, it was a great cabin!

Cozy cabin

Just being in this cabin was a vacation in itself. We enjoyed how spacious it is yet cozy and warm, how unique and interesting every corner of the cabin is, and how calm and serene you feel being inside. Everything was great from the hot tub to the basement movies to the sunsets and sunrises.

Great Getaway

This property is accurate to the photos. We had a great time with four couples hanging out, cooking, playing games and making memories. Exactly what we were looking for with our kiddo free weekend. The house has multiple common spaces to gather and have a variety of surroundings (inside and outside). We loved the location and opportunities in the communities not far away. Awesome Cabin

We booked this cabin for our annual friends "weekend" that turned into 4 days of fun! It was the perfect location for us near to our friends land so we could ATV the trails and go down to the little bar down the road, go to the lake and drive to the Danbury casino. It was so amazing to have such a beautiful property (with A/C!!!) and comfy beds to sleep in when we were finally ready to retire for the night. We hope to come back next year!!

Beautiful Hideaway Up North

We loved our trip to the Springbook cottage, the owners were responsive and lovely to work with. The cottage is beautiful, the location is private yet close enough to Hayward and other local communities so we were busy yet relaxed. The firepit and jet tub really were fantastic!
