Cozy Home in Central Squamish close to Amenities

Our comfortable 3 bedroom home is located right in the middle of Squamish close to amenities, a short walk to the river and a quick pedal to many of the local bike trails.

If you are anything like us you've already spent hours looking for the perfect accommodation for your trip! Our home is clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We are well equipped as a more affordable option for your Whistler ski trip! We are newer to VRBO but have over 130 ***5 STAR REVIEWS*** on another listing site. We want you to have a comfortable and relaxing stay with as much attention to detail and amenities that we can offer at our price point. We are always improving our accommodations based on our own and guest feedback!

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:

Guests can call, text or email anytime with a fast response rate. We live at the back of the property in a coach house so are nearby if you need anything but otherwise we will ensure your privacy. The coach house is completely separate from the main house. There is a great deck and lots of yard space for you to enjoy in the warmer months.

Whistler Creekside Gondola - 42km/25mi
Vancouver Stanley Park - 48km/30mi

Quick and easy access to highway 99!

We are located in a neighbourhood called "Northyards" we are in close proximity to the Train Museum but don't worry the sound from the trains doesn't really carry to where we are located.

Our place is also a very quick walk down to where the Squamish and Mamquam rivers meet and have a lot of great, mellow walking trails along the rivers.

We have several amenities within less than 10 minute walk from the house such as:

PETS:

Dogs are welcome at an additional $30 per reservation. Please let us know if you are bringing any furbabies with you at time of booking.

OTHER RULES/THINGS TO NOTE:

Smoking is not allowed indoors.

No parties or events allowed.

We try to keep the cleaning fee to a very reasonable rate so ask for your help in keeping the house tidy! We also ask that the dishwasher and a load of laundry be started before leaving so there is ample time for our cleaners to do a second load.

Our neighbourhood is undergoing some upgrades along with many older areas of Squamish. There are not many places in Squamish right now that have no construction happening! There can be some residential construction noise during weekdays/regular business hours. We have not had any guest complaints about noise.

Fun in Squamish
This was a lovely, comfortable, well appointed, home in which we had a family get together. There was ample room for all 6 adults and a child and we particularly liked that we were able to enjoy our meals together in the spacious dining room. The hosts were attentive and flexible and they even had Christmas decorations put up. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it. Thank you!

Good location but house had a smell
House was nice and in a good location but the house had a musty, almost cat urine smell to it especially in the living room and bathroom area. We also found that the fridge could have been cleaner (old food residual) and we found an old used paper towel or Kleenex in a kitchen drawer. The kitchen was well stocked with good knives though and it was easy to get a hold of Kelly, the host.

A great home base while exploring Squamish
We had a great time at "the Purple House" in Squamish - the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kelly was very responsive when we had questions about how to use the heater. We stayed for over a week with two teens, and were very comfortable. There were a ton of things to do in Squamish, like hiking, climbing, and biking. We also enjoyed day trips to Whistler and Vancouver. Overall, a great trip!

My parents and husband and I had a wonderful stay in Squamish. Location is very close to the walking paths that runs beside the train tracks and river and a beautiful place to walk. Another unique place to stay in British Columbia
The Purple House sits in a corner of the street but we drove by it twice before we finally located it . Parking there was a pleasant experience. We enjoyed our family time in this unique house in Squamish. Kelly could be reached promptly when we had questions. Thank you for introducing us to simple French Press coffee with detailed instructions, and the complimentary coffee ground, well done!

Ok, at first glance as we pulled up to the property, my daughter in law was a bit skeptical. Purple house, could use a fresh coat of paint. However, once inside she said you definitely can't judge a book by its cover. Very nice and roomy inside and just cute as a button. Bedrooms were enough for four adults and one 11 year old. Very nice comfortable porch to relax on and nice yard. Great part of town, easy access to everything around. The owners had a whiteboard listing places to eat and drink which was very handy. We didn't expect to see a Wi playstation in the house but it was a great bonus for my grandson. Also good wifi. Seriously, if you're looking for house lodging in Squamish I can't recommend this enough.

Amazing stay!
Really enjoyed the stay! In a great location - not too busy and not too far from anything. The place was the perfect size for our four-person group (3 beds, 2 baths) and the additional amenities such as mud room, laundry, bbq and wifi were great nice-to-haves. The place was dog-friendly (great for my friend's dog) and we got the bonus of meeting the owners' dogs. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. Couldn't be happier with our stay! Thanks!

Perfect spot for our family
This sweet home was perfect for our family (us plus 3 adult children and large dog). Home is spacious, very clean and well laid out. Mudroom/laundry for our mountain bikes was great. Very homey, unique and comfy furniture and decor, lots of seating for us all. Kitchen well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. Info boards around the home with dining and excursion suggestions were very helpful. Beds were super comfortable with lovely bedding. Large outdoor space was perfect for our dog who loved sharing the large, fenced yard space with the owner's 3 sweet pups. On a busy street but the covered deck we spent a ton of time on viewing the mountains was far enough away for privacy. Out the door to trails along the river and walking distance to dining options. Short drive or bike to lots of food, shopping and trail options. Squamish is a fantastic location and we actually preferred it to our week in Whistler. Thank you so much Kelly and Jeff for your hospitality and pleasant conversation. It was so helpful to have you nearby for getting information about your amazing town.

This is an older home that has been nicely updated, with comfortable furniture and a complete kitchen inventory. The fenced in yard was nice for the dogs. The location is good for exploring Squamish and Whistler.

Fabulous Squamish Vacay
We had a fabulous stay at this Squamish vrbo. The interior is open concept welcoming and easy to live in, and so beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for our family's mountain biking, hikes, climbs and walks to the river. Kelly was very helpful with any questions, and was friendly but provided us privacy for our family stay. Looking forward to returning, sooner rather than later! :)
