“This was our first trip to Italy and to Bologna. We thoroughly enjoyed this gorgeous, peaceful setting in the Bologna countryside. The view from our living area window was SPECTACULAR!!!! Alessandro, Angela and Gregorio made us feel very welcome and comfortable on the property and helped us with anything we needed. Alessandro arranged for a wonderful pasta making/ cooking class with Monica and Barbara from tryandtaste.it for us that was EXCEPTIONAL- (afterwards we sat down and shared the meal……

“The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna.”

On the third floor, ovelooking cafes, wine bars and a vital social scene in the center of University life, we still enjoyed a good night’s sleep in the quiet back bedroom. Then down the elevator and out the front door, we could make our first stop at the cafe just across the street, then head out on foot in any direction to explore this interesting and beautiful city.”
