I'm currently staying at various hotels in Denmark with about the same price range, not sure about the very expensive ones, but many of these hotels are either lacking mini bar, slippers, tissue, or very small shower place with shower curtain that doesn't block out the water at all. All that common annoying issues I found in Denmark, none were happening at the Hilton hotel in Faroe Islands. It was like "finally I can really get some rest here" and……

“Dejlig lys lejlighed med udsigt over Torshavns bymidte og havnen. Lejligheden er hyggelig og køkkenet rimelig velassorteret. Stegepanden trænger dog til udskiftning og en termokande ville også være velkommen. Bortset fra det var vores ophold tip top.”

“We actually had booked hotel Brendan but as we did not understand that the hotel was not in the city center they quickly transferred us to their sister hotel Hafnia, no questions asked, great service! Brandan’s lobby was very nice and good view! However since we actually stayed at hafnia the focus should be there. Amazing breakfast, great service, great vouchers, good beds and nice room! Great location! ”

“Hotellet hadde en grei beliggenhet, kort avstand til centrum, fine trygge parkeringsplasser, fin frokost og gratis kaffe og isbiter om ønskelig. Veldig bra totalinntrykk. Veldig hyggelige folk i resepsjon som bidro veldig bra om anbefalte utflukter/ severdigheter og kjøreruter/ historiske hendelser.”

“Very comfortable hotel, clear and large room, reception is helpful, general service is above standard. Since the hotel location on the hill, hence it provide a wonderful review no matter from the room or restaurant, but if you didn't rent the car and prefer by walk to down town, it will require around 30 min. to down hill and around 45 min. to up hill. Besides, strongly recommend to book the KOKS for dinner as they will provide an excellent food and service to you which the chef will introduce……

“Jeg skulle bruge en enkelt overnatning og fik et skønt stort værelse lige over receptionen. Der var næsten ingen larm - kun lidt fra gangen af og til, og fra den lille vej, der løber forbi hotellet. Parkering var dog lidt bøvlet, da der kun er ½ time parkering ved hotellet, og jeg skulle gå lidt for at finde 8 timers parkering (i dagtimerne - fri parkering om natten). Morgenmaden var velsmagende og varieret. Hotellet ligger lige i bymidten og afstanden er kort til alt her. Jeg bruger gerne dette……

“Everything was perfect! The cleanliness, the service, the breakfast. (Even though there was no vegan options, i made it work with the fruit and sliced bell peppers.) Hotel os right in the center and a .i utes walk from everything. Im planning on returning, so i would like to see options for laundry services.”

“Water does not go through the drain in the shower. Clean room and kitchen, big room. Very good to have a table and chairs. Breakfast is great.”

“Relatively cheap accommodatipn in Torshavn, rooms were fine with nice view over the city. There was a shared bathroom with another room. Breakfast was ok but quite simple.”

“The apartment was tidy and all the necessities in the bathroom and in the kitchen. Although, there was a problem with insects and we wanted to change place. The customer service provided really quickly information about a new apartment but it was really tricky and time consuming to reach them again. After a few phone calls they finally sent us the details for the new apartment, how to reach the place and the checkin details. ”
