DESCRIPTION:
Rustic and homey, A-Frame of Mind is the perfect spot to escape the day-to-day, relax, and recenter! This charming home is tucked away in the Sky Valley community and offers a calm, quiet vacation environment while being just a short drive from the eastern finger of Deep Creek Lake. Enjoy fun-filled days swimming, kayaking, and fishing at the community lake access and catch and release pond and then spend soothing evenings gathered around the fireplace, roasting marshmallows and storytelling. When hunger hits, head down the road to Fireside Deli and Wine for fantastic sandwiches, pasta, and drinks! Family and friends of all ages are sure to enjoy the bubbling hot tub, and flat screen TVs, making it easy to keep the kids (and kids-at-heart) entertained all day long. As a pet-friendly rental, your pups can join the fun, too! The quiet neighborhood roads are perfect for morning and evening walks with the whole family! ACCESS DETAILS:
Lake access is located along Piney Point Dr. While this home does not come with dock access, dock slips are available to rent on a first come first serve basis through the Sky Valley Community Association for an additional fee of $25/day. Please note that this association only rents slips to those who privately own their boats. Rental boats are not allowed. Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

DOG BREED LIMITATIONS: Even in dog-friendly homes, it’s prohibited to bring any dog with a history or instance of aggressive or reactive tendencies. We welcome any dog which you know to be well-socialized, trained, and friendly in any situation involving others, both human and canine, as there may be nearby dogs at neighboring properties. However, due to restrictions in place by homeowner insurance policies, breeds listed as most aggressive are banned from all rentals, regardless of the training and temperament of the individual dog. AFTER BOOKING: An email will be sent to the address provided during check-out; please check for action items needed to secure your reservation. The subject of this email will start with "URGENT: Complete Your Booking For"... and may be in your Promotional/Marketing folders depending on your email provider and settings.

TOILETRIES & PAPER PRODUCTS: Bed linens and bath towels provided w/rental. No soaps, toiletries, paper products, trash bags, etc. will be provided with the exception of a welcome bag including a few starter items. Please pack accordingly.

NOTE: A copy of the contract holder's Photo ID, a signed contract, and a list of your full travel party (names/ages of all attending) will be required to complete your booking. If booking last minute, you may be required to stop by our main office to show your photo ID and the credit card used on the reservation. This policy is in place to help combat fraudulent activity that is more likely to occur in last-minute arrivals.

Cozy Cabin

We were so pleased with your stay at A-Frame-of-Mind! It was easy to check in and well-stocked (toiletries, dishwasher detergent pods, etc.) We had a minor problem when we opened the dishwasher, it was flooded and not usable. However someone was out within minutes to fix it for us! We really enjoyed the hot tub and cozy hidden escape!
