"Other than the mixup with the lock code (they change it with every new guest), the visit went great. Mark responded right away with the new code. What would help is a book with instructions (I didn't know there was separate cans for recycling and trash). Not a big deal. Place was clean and amenities were decent. I would stay there again. Quiet and close to civilization without the noise."

"We enjoyed our stay, the location was great not too far from the freeway but far enough away you were not in the “city”. The owners were very accommodating to us. They even had toys for my three year old to play with outside. The outdoor playground was great. The trailer was well kept, and ready for us when we arrived. It had a large cover on top to help it when it was sunny. We were happy to find this gem for our 4 night stay. I would book with them again if I return to this area."

"The property looks nice as you drive up, but we were very unhappy with the following: excessive dog hair on beds, couch, pillows, flooring, dirty utensils, dirty shower, back door lock would not release, I repaired it, bbq ready to fall over, deck cushions were very dirty, patio table was ready to fall over. "My family stayed here during our February break for the first time. We wanted to come play in the snow and also have a spacious home to relax in. This house fit the bill! We had cozy fires every night and played board games that we brought with us. We were close to the stores in Shaver and drove to the snow park area everyday (about 15 minutes away). We would definitely stay at this home again!"

"Nice layout. Sizable dining and living rooms areas. Bedrooms, bathrooms, closets were nice size. Mud room type area upon entry was great. Nice fire burning fireplace. Some issues with cleanliness in bathrooms, but not terrible. Biggest problem was the fire alarm was chirping and 15+ feet up a wall. No one would come to fix it the first night and I certainly couldn't reach it. It was a terrible sound to deal with all night. Had driven hours and then was very challenging to be able to doze off...

"We really love the location of this cabin. A short hike to the lake or 10 min walk to town but we did not hear any commotion from the main road. The layout is the perfect size for 4-6 adults. Cornhole and fire pit area are a nice addition to keep kids occupied. The small heater worked well but it was not too cold outside. Stove, microwave, everything you need. I just had to go get matches because the lighter was out of liquid. A potato peeler or pairing knife would would have been a plus but...

"This cabin was great. Location was good, plenty of room, nice and clean, no complaints at all. My kids loved the game room/bunk room combo. We visit Shaver a few times every year to go to the slopes, and we will definitely try to seek this one out again. Thanks for the great stay!"

"While the cabin is a lovely place, we have an elderly family member and a blind family member, the path from the driveway into the house is very muddy right now making it uneven, and the walkway is cracked and uneven leading up to the stairs. So while this house was a nice place to stay, it is not recommended if anyone in your party requires ADA accessibility."
