"Staff are very friendly. Unfortunately we had an "egg smell" from our bathroom shower every time we used it. I spoke to the front staff and they said maintenance would look at it but never heard anything back. Otherwise the hotel is very convenient. The pool and hot tub was very nice."

"We loved everything about our stay at the Sandcastle! The styling and decor are fun, the location is excellent and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed having coffee by the fire on The Deck at twilight. It’s a wonderful place and I will definitely stay there again!"

"Ok, let’s start with this hotel being in Bakersfield. Most people stay for one night. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless and updated. The check in was easy. Parking was fine. I do recommend they put up a sign in the building showing you what direction the elevator is going. That was a little confusing but they did give you a map. We got the breakfast for a small extra fee by signing up for the free cancellation which was a minimal fee. It was worth it. The breakfast was great and the waitress was the best waitress I might have ever had. She was amazing. It is right off a freeway. If you need a place to stay for a night this hotel is well worth the cost. "
