“The cabin was clean, well set up, and the host was very nice. The composting toilet is a compact, self-contained, above-floor unit, and the diverting flap was visibly soiled, which was immediately noticeable when the lever was shifted. The toilet stall is also open to the room, with an uncovered half-moon cutout and walls that do not fully extend to the ceiling. While we understood the cabin would be rustic, this lack of privacy made the toilet experience a bit too intimate for people sharing a……
