“Neat built home right in the river and a much needed one mile walk from town after driving and eating all the towns good food! Right next to the train depot if that’s what your plans are, or good access to the min roads to get into Denali (2hr drive). I liked the welcome book and seeing all the guests that have stayed and some of the items in the house were neat and showed some of the history. A train occasionally went by but did not bother us. Great views of the river with a nice yard with……

“Everything was exactly as described. Plenty of essentials. Comfy beds. Enjoyed an early morning hot tub dip. (Lots of mosquitos- more later in the day as it warms up). Good home base for our day trips- glacier flight, Denali park, and good adventures). The restaurants in Talkeetna offer good variety. Our favorite was the Salmon Spot followed by the Homestead and then Mountain High pizza. Lots of music venues so every evening something to enjoy. ”

“Very soft and comfortable bed. Had everything for a comfortable stay! Loved the peace and quiet! Kids loved sleeping on the pull out sofa and pull out ottoman so they didn’t have to share. Lovely cabin in the woods! Highly recommend. ”
