So we had to call the owner who didn’t answer at the moment and we were stuck outside. - When we opened the door, no electricity in the house at all. It was like that for an hour at least, and all the other neighbours had power. We were in the total dark. Called the owner once again. He didn’t know why. Power came back at some point but we had no hot water to take a shower. 10 men in a house after travelling for 15 hours forced to take a cold shower on that first night. - We had no wifi for all the duration of the stay despite multiple communication witht the owner. He said he opened the ticket with the wifi company but we never had it fixed. I messaged them three times, then contacted VRBO for support as our check in was in two days and I still had gotten no communication from the hosts. They finally messaged me. Communication is SO important for things like vacation rentals, and they just don't seem to prioritize it. I waited for a whole month before contacting support to call them. Cleanliness: We found the property to be lacking in this area. The corners have piled up dirt and dust. There was food on some of the dishes in the cupboards. A crockpot in the pantry was dirty and covered in bugs. In the master, I saw paper under an end table, so I pulled it. It pulled out a used flosser, a pile of dirt and hair, trash, and a receipt from JUNE 2024\. It's March 2025\. That's disgusting. I also found food wrappers in the couch cushions. POOL/SPA HEATDon't pay for it. They turn it on and off. I paid and it was cold when we got there. You have to ask every time you want the spa on. Then tell them when to turn it off. The pool they will not leave warm the entire time, even though you pay for it. I paid 195 for three days. The pool was warm maybe 12 hours. I asked for them to turn the spa on and expressed my concerns with all of this, and they read my text, ignored me, then turned it on while we were working to check out, I assume to be petty. Unprofessional. It's a nice house and neighborhood, but I wouldn't recommend. ##### Ashley P. Lots of towels for the pool and the beach and showers! There are a few things that need updating/repairs inside the home. The locks are difficult to manoeuvre. However from the posted picture online it did not show the 74+ crosses all over the house. It does state it was a Christian home and that was fine. But we are a multi religion family and it felt rather uncomfortable when we walked in since those photos were not posted. I love the home. Very spacious. Only thing is there was not dish towels or gloves for the cast iron grill outside. We had to make a run to Walmart to buy dish towels, extra roll of paper towels and grilling utensils. The utensils there were at the home were broken, over all we really enjoyed the home. ##### Doug P. It was clean, spacious and a relaxing so for my family. The location was in the vicinity of everywhere se wanted to go with ease and time constraints.
