“Access to the property is terrible especially when wet as it was. Bathrooms were stark - no shelves for toiletries or hangers for towels. No toilet roll holder. Wash basin and taps tiny and difficult to use as tap controls were at the back. Two of the glass window were broken and ants were in the bathroom. Downstairs bathroom shower very dangerous for old people due to the steps. Downstairs bedroom had absolutely no curtains or blinds. Car headlights lit up the room as if they were in the room.……

“Toda la noche hicieron ruido en el cuarto de arriba, es imposible bañarse con agua caliente porque te prohíben tocar la manija del calentador eléctrico que permanece apagado y para evitar cargos pues te bañas con agua fría, de tantas condiciones que ponen te sientes incómodo y evitas tocar las cosas, el “anfitrión“ muy grosero. El inmueble muy muy viejo, es una vecindad acondicionada ”

" ⸻ I stayed at Hotel Artesanos XI from April 3rd to 6th, and it was a wonderful experience. The owner, Antonio, is incredibly honest, reliable, and always willing to help. He made me feel safe and well taken care of. He also has a dog named Bazzi — super cute and energetic, definitely the little star of the place! The location is excellent — just a 4-minute walk from the main square, so it’s very convenient but also peaceful and quiet. Although the room doesn’t have a TV or air conditioning, I was out hiking during the day and felt tired when I came back. After a shower and with decent Wi-Fi, I just relaxed with my phone and slept well. The whole atmosphere felt calm, safe, and cozy. If you’re visiting Tepoztlán and looking to connect with the energy and tranquility of the mountains, I highly recommend this hotel!"
