“Easy to find,short(ish) walk into town,quiet hotel (at least where we slept)nice breakfast facilities a "help yourself" didn't have an evening meal as we ate in town (plenty to choose from)if you didn't want a drink in the hotel bar there's a pub across the road "The Tollgate" plenty of outside seating and food available.A pleasant stay for our weekend.”

“Wir waren zwar nur eine Nacht dort aber es war wirklich gut für die Nacht, immer wieder gerne.”

“This was the 4th time staying at the George and for the last 2 times ive a room with a very small tv. So s.all on this stay that watching the football i had difficulty seeing who was who and were the ball was. Otherwise the staff are friendly the meal i had very good. Next time unless i have a room with the bigger tv screen i wont be able to book. Neil”

“The hotel is part of a historic inn which was very atmospheric. We stayed in a family room for 3 people and the room was warm and cosy and welcoming as we arrived just before 9pm and it was a bit chilly in the countryside. Breakfast was excellent and in a nice dining room in a genuine rural setting. Service was friendly & excellent.”
