The beach’s name derives from the Latin word for setting (or west) and this is where you’ll witness the day’s last moments of sunshine in Benidorm.

Terra Natura is a zoo whose vast enclosures contain exotic animals from across the globe. Aqua Natura is a large and popular water park, with an artificial beach and twirling slides, outside Benidorm. The site is split into a few sections, including a children’s pool, a water slide area and a lighthouse breakwater. Sunbathe on the deck chairs lining the sandy strand and order drinks from the bars and cafés.

Follow the labyrinth of streets and steep harbor-side steps that lead to Balcón del Mediterráneo and be rewarded with one of the best views of Benidorm, one of the Costa Blanca’s most celebrated cities. The platform has been painted crisp white, so it stands out against the blue water.
