"We just stayed one night - the owners collected us from the train station which was helpful with a lot of luggage and a wheelchair. Owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was large and comfortable for us 3 adults, with an elevator for easy accessibility. As the room was on the top floor there were skylights with windows and blinds that could be electronically opened. There were plenty of other windows, with a great view to the mountains, but you need to bend a little to see through them...

"We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the apartment as well as the location. We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). The architecture and decor of the apartment was well thought out and probably the highlight for us. The only negative part of our stay was the bugs...

"This property has some very good assets. It also has some issues that need to be resolved. The location on the north end of Lake Como and the short distance to transportation to the rest of the lake is awesome. But we tried to get some information from the owner/manager on our first night and it turned into a fiasco. The manager got angry with me for asking simple questions. The rest of our stay seemed like a disaster because of it. I'm sorry it ended up like that, there was no need for it to go...

Then arguing that one of the group ordered something theu hadn’t even seen on the menu instead of steak, despite asking for it medium rare. Muttering in Italian as he walked away, clearly angry and practically throwing the plate down on the table. Then when it was time to pay, fairly sure the person from front desk called us swear...

"The appartment is very spacy, clean, well equipped and also very cosy. Due to the wooden blinds and the stone floor the appart was still cool while outside temperatures of 32 degrees and hence very suitable for dogs. The garden is also very large and has a magnificent view on the lake and mountains."

"This is a property with a beautiful view of Lake Como. It was nice to meet Paulo and his father. Paulo was very friendly and helpful. The house was well kept and ideal for us and our daughter. It was very hot when we were there but the cooling unit in the bedroom helped. Gravedona was ideal for lakeside walks,the ferry, swimming and water sports. We are all a bit fitter having chosen to walk up and down the hill from the lake to the house!"
