“Room and facilities were spotless. Staff were very friendly- this was an easy and pleasant experience. They had a nice wee bar and lounge area too. Still some work going on to build out the grounds and parking area but this didn’t detract from my experience at all. ”

“Take your own pots and pans as well as garbage bags. Last day of my stay I saw mice in my room and could not sleep all night long. Its a good location and during check in the person on the desk was very nice. But overall the motel is very old, run down, smelly, dirty and looks shady. The kitchen and bathroom had no vents! Fire alert! Also no microwave and no dishwaher. The walls shake when neighbours slam/open doors, 0 security - I would not bring small children here. Our 2 bedroom suite only……

Rooms a very small (bathroom door doesn’t open fully because the bed is too long), and best to keep your luggage in the car. Loved parking right outside my room - made it easy for loading in the pouring rain.”

“I know this isn't a five star property, but the office staff could make some effort. I am tired of staff who treat guests like they're an inconvenience. This could explain why the parking lot was half empty during my week's stay. On the other hand, the housekeeping staff were delightful and very engaging. They made me feel welcome and valued. Also, this may be the first motel in a resort town that didn't have an ice machine. On the positive side, the motel is located on the north end of the main……
