“Very private, beautiful property. Hot tub was great for relaxing at night. Even though it was cooler out we slept with the window open to hear the waves. Only negative was swimming. All rock and very slippery due to algae. If you had a float you could make it to the deeper water. Overall great place and would stay again and recommend”

“The positives are that the cabin had lots of space, modern, clean, had everything you need (coffee maker, fridge, microwave, stove, wine/beer opener, dishes, cutlery etc. The host Mike had good communication and honoured his agreement with me. Some improvements could be to add mat or something on master bedroom shower floor as it is very slippery. The Couch in living room is stained so recommend it be steam cleaned or replaced. “Lots of space at home and well-equipped! We were 5 adults, a 3 year old and a 10 month old, and a big dog, and we all had a great time. The host is very responsive as well and there are a lot of guides at the place that can help you navigate around. Great option for a family vacation!”

“We used the cottage has a home base to explore all that Tobermory had to offer. It’s a great location to all the main attractions of the area( 15mins into town) Communication with the owner was always quick and we didn’t have any issues during our rental. Loved the advice of water shoes as it is all rock into the water. It’s a beautiful area and the cottage gives you a very private piece of the beauty to enjoy. “My family and I just stayed at Lindsay and Dan’s cottage in Tobermory. We came to the area to show it to a French exchange student that is living with us, but it was mine and my daughters’ first time there too. Lindsay and Dan’s cottage is lovely, cozy, very well maintained and clean. It’s in a great location with a 1-2 minute walk along a path to Lake Huron, and about a 20 minute drive into the town of Tobermory. “Damp smell throughout the house especially in the basement, there are 3 bedrooms at the main level and 2 bedrooms in the basement. The bedrooms in the basement were not used because there were many earwigs. As a result two adults slept on the couch in the living room. The kitchen was not cleaned. The dishwasher was not usable. Very dirty. We washed manually the dishes. The coffee maker did not work. We have used mostly paper plates and cups that luckily we brought from home. There was no air……

“We are a family of six enjoyed this property over the long weekend. The host is nice and friendly. The place is clean and the wifi is very good. During our stay we enjoyed the BBQ on the patio, the fire pit, and the fully equipped kitchen. Also the location of the house is super convenient to all attractions in the area.”
