“平日で泊まり客も少なかったので寂しい感じだった。スタッフは受付後ほぼ見かけなかった。 アメニティやお茶パックなどロビーに設置してあるが、滞在中補充がされてなかったので、すでに品切れとなったままだった。 温泉は源泉かけ流しで湯の温度は低めだが、ゆったり浸かれて良かった。 ちょうど近くにある奥津渓谷の紅葉真っ盛りで素晴らしく、混み合わない早朝に見に行けた。 散策も楽しんだ。 お安く泊まれたので接遇、食事の評価は普通としました。”

“Generally a bad experience in our one-night stay. Our room is separated from the Main Building (around 150m), it is at the opposite side of the river and above the pub (named "PUBLICHOUSE LAUGHTALE" in google map), so it is a bit noisy at night. The room is not clean as we found residue in kitchen sink and hair in bathroom sink by previous visitors. The track of wooden window is full of dead insects. The toilet is disproportionately tiny consider the huge room size, it is also not tidy and……

“Great hotel that I love to stay again. The hotel is clean and neat and tidy. It has history but it is not old to me. Meals are great and room are large. During my stay, there is one staff who can speak mandarin. Another one or two can speak general English. Other can only speak Japanese. This is normal as that area is not famous for foreign travellers due to the transportation. Onsen is great - this is important for lady visitors but not quite relevant for males as most of male……

“A traditional onsen hotel with a historic look. Our family of 3 stayed in a standard room, nothing more than general. The dinner is Japanese style set with good looking. Yet, one kind of the mixed sashimi was still frozen hard when being served and I had never experienced this in a Japanese ryokan before. Staff were nice, but not very outgoing when compared with other ryokans. The stay was general.”
