9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,177 reviews)
Stayed here on a weeknight for a work trip and overall had a comfortable experience. Check‑in was smooth and easy, and we were given a welcome drink on arrival. We opted for a tap beer, though both kegs happened to be out of action at the time, so we ended up with a bottled option instead.
We were upgraded to a Premier Room on level 13, which was a nice gesture, though the upgrade didn’t really offer much benefit. The view overlooked the neighbouring apartment building, so while you could see straight into someone’s living room, there wasn’t any city skyline to enjoy. That said, the room itself was very clean, the bathroom was a great size, and the bath towels were excellent. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The only frustration was the air‑conditioning, which kept resetting itself to 24 degrees, so we had to continually adjust it back down to 18 to keep the room cool.
Breakfast was included in our rate and offered a generous selection of hot and cold options. The scrambled eggs were a little dry, but everything else looked fresh and well presented.
One downside was a slight sewage smell around the lift areas, which wasn’t pleasant. Parking was $40 on weekdays and $15 on weekends.
Despite a few minor issues, the location is great, the room rate was one of the best around, and we’d likely stay again.
