"We LOVE coming to this house yearly! We come with multiple families and there is so much to keep everyone occupied and only 20 mins to Hershey! Between the pool, game room and garage with sporting stuff, we never hear "we're bored"!"

"The house was very large and spacious. With 10 people, there was plenty of room to sit and not feel crowded. Also lots of room to park. It was located close to a grocery store and a delicious pizza restaurant. "

"It was great place to stay, quite and calm neighborhood, the stairs like others have said are narrow but that is expected with an older historical home. It was clean and had everything we needed. Thanks again for the stay."

The property manager responded really quickly and was very nice when I messaged a question. We stayed there for a race at Numidia Dragway which is about 20 minutes away. "Location of the house is great, short drive to Hershey Park. Pool was nice for a hot day. The covered porch was also nice. On to the actual house, like I said in the title, this house seems as it was a quick flip and was not in the best condition. Multiple trim pieces missing around the house, it did not seem like it had been cleaned prior to our arrival, shower head in the master bathroom was not secured to wall, there was limescale buildup on almost every water source in the house, there were...

"The house is excellent. It is historic, but has plenty of space. The town of Fredericksburg is easy walking distance and also quite charming.The communication with the hosts was excellent and they provided easy check in and check out (even left us Hershey kisses with the keys!). Easy drive to Hershey park which was a big part of our staying here.All in all, a great experience and recommended!"

"This is a beautiful mansion with 9 bedrooms which include a couple of sitting rooms attached to 2 bedrooms with pull-out couches. The front parlor has a piano which our son tuned and then played beautifully! I was a bit nervous with three antique large mirrors in gold leaf frames on the floor leaning against the wall. "This is the perfect place to stay when visiting AOAA. The host Mary was exceptional, she communicated very well before and throughout our stay. It is the ideal place for a group of guys(or gals) to stay, with everything from a giant tv to a nice flat iron grill to use. All you need is food, bedding and your vehicles. There is plenty of parking, you can back in 4 trucks with big trailers in the lot and street parking as well."

"The house was clean and pleasant. It was perfect for our stay. We went riding at AOAA, and this was close enough to the trails for us to enjoy our getaway. The property/house was perfect, comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again."

"Three generations stayed at Sweet Retreat for a little getaway. Our plans did not go as planned but no worries, Sweet Retreat made up for it! Super comfy beds, a nice sizzled kitchen (the second fridge was great to have). The backyard was our own little oasis. We would have spent more time there if it rained less. Super easy communication with the owner. Will definitely consider staying again. "
