“Great forest view and the whole stay experience is nice. It is in the rural area so there is no sight seeing spot around. The shuttle bus to hotel need to reserve first, not hop-on hop-off type.”

“Toyoko Inn is a good hotel , I must recommend it to my friends. It is located in the center of town, and the popular stores also can be found in there. Such as Aeon and cosmetics store as well. Facilities are nice as well.”

“We loved our ski holiday at Hotel Takimoto. The all inclusive plan was great - so much included. Meals and drinks were great and plentiful, rooms were comfy, skis and boots were good quality, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent central location with easy access to the extensive Shiga Kogen ski area. A bonus was being able to ski back to the front door. Rooms were a little warm as we had to keep them shut to deter monkeys. Would suggest a portable fan be……
