Upgraded my room to a suite as I was a late arrival and night staff carried my bag to my room. Breakfast really well run and supervisor excellent with younger staff able to cope well . Excellent breakfast with personalised ordering no bother."

"The pool/jacuzzi/sauna was great to have on a rainy day. There was plenty of choice on site for eating and drinking or it was just a short walk into town. The hotel is virtually next door to the cavernous St Macartan's cathedral, the outstanding building of Monaghan. There was a wedding on the day I arrived which made reception very busy and the staff less available but no less friendly for it."
