Greene Cottage is a vintage island cottage located within walking distance of Tybee town center with quaint shops, restaurants, entertainment, a great beach, and the back river for fishing and kayaking enthusiast. Greene Cottage is 720 square feet of pure coastal romantic living : Two Queen bedrooms, two full bathrooms, high chair and portacrib ,cozy living space with 2 flatscreen TV, WIFI, fully equipped kitchen, private attached outdoor shower with access through bathroom, back sitting deck,and screen porch with out door dining, grill provided, firepit and parking for 3 autos on white rock driveway. Park and walk or bike everywhere!

This was an absolutely charming 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage that was brightly decorated, comfortable, clean. Note that the shower for the second bathroom was outside but very private so not a problem. Front screened in porch was our favorite spot. Very convenient to South Beach and Tybee beach pier, restaurants, shops. We walked everywhere. Two minor issues: beach chairs were broken and the coffeepot was moldy. This would not at all prevent me from giving this excellent spot five stars. I highly recommend it.

Cool cottage walking distance to downtown Tybee

The little cottage is really cool. Design of the interior is really cool and we enjoyed staying there. You can walk to the main area of Tybee Island easily.

Long weekend at the beach

We had a great time in this beautiful period beach cottage which was full of charm and character. It was a short walk to the beach and everything else we needed during our stay. It was our first time experiencing Tybee Island and we couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay here.

Charming Cottage

My husband and I spent a lovely long weekend at the Greene Cottage. The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located. We had everything we needed and the beach, shops and fantastic restaurants are all just a short stroll away. We will definitely be back!

Authentic Vintage Cottage Feel

Short walk to the south beach where we spent most of our beach time. We found this beach to be more relaxing and open. Garden hose at entrance to rinse off sand was very handy. Easy parking for 2 maybe 3 vehicles.

Nicely decorated cottage

The Greene Cottage has comfy beds and the outdoor shower is a big plus if you're a beach bum. It has a lovely screened in front porch with dining & sitting areas with a ceiling fan. It's in a quiet neighborhood but close to dining and shops.

Tybee Treasure

Lovely space. Fully outfitted. Only negatives: cleaners have bypassed under the beds/couch with the vacuum for a while, and the outdoor shower water was on the cold side. Cute space/excellent location to the less crowded south side beach. Would return for sure.

Heavenly even with a Hurricane!

This was our 2nd stay in Greene Cottage and it won’t be our last. Even staying during a hurricane it was comfortable and felt like home away from home. The beautiful art, and comfortable furnishing put Greene Cottage above all others! The walkability to popular areas of Tybee is icing on the cake. Thank you to Pegi for being the most gracious host. Can’t wait to book next years trip!

Mother - Daughter Summer Vacation

Our stay at Greene Cottage was amazing! Pegi was easy to work with when I needed to change my dates due to my daughter's cheer camp and responded quickly with a tiny issue upon arrival. We were able to walk to the pier, the south end of the island, and the back river. This also meant we could walk to many shops and restaurants. The cottage was just as described and was just what this teacher needed to recharge. We loved out stay at Greene Cottage and hope to return again. We visited June 2024.

Perfect Spring Break spot

The cottage was so cute and cozy. The fire pit was our main attraction and the evenings were cool and perfect to do Smores. The cottage is sooo close to everything. We regret not renting bikes but next time for sure. The WiFi didnt really work but we didnt need it much. I"n sure i could have nessaged Pegi but it wasn't that serious to get on the internet. The kitchen was perfect for the couple of meals we made. The main room mattress could have been a bit more comfy. And a little more cushion to the cough. But all in all, my family and I enjoyed the stay and loved Tybee Island. We took a couple day trips to Savannah as it was only 30 minutes away but there was plenty to do on the island as well.

Cool cosy cottage conveniently situated and excellent communication with the owner

We both loved this little cottage. We enjoy antiques and older houses (my friend has an antique booth) and we found the older pieces and cleaver design elements a lot of fun to fawn over and discover in our short stay. As others have said, the location is an easy walk to some good local restaurants. Try Mi Vida for some surprisingly good veggie breakfast items (we liked it better than a well-regarded vegan restaurant in Savannah). Fins Corner Pizza and Hibachi had great pizza despite the, er, unusual pairing of cuisines. Even the sushi place was good. And we’re picky! We had some internet hiccups, but the owner was very responsive, and the issue was resolved quickly (for cable issues, lol). And she was VERY easy to reach and quite accommodating. You can’t ask for better than that. If I had to quibble about anything, I suppose the lighting could be a little brighter inside the cottage.
