Comfortable stay - staff were lovely! It would have been nice to have been informed there was a festival on so the car park was out of use, prior to arrival, however overall a positive experience.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was easy. The room was really clean and the decor was quirky and bright. It's a lively night spot (for a little town) so it wasn't the quietest place to sleep, but good value for money.

Room & bathroom a good size & clean. Understand that property is in throws of renovation. Staff friendly & helpful. Good outside garden seating area. Central to town, off street parking available. Only thing which would have been useful was more power points in room for charging phones, hearing aids etc. This an observation not a criticism. We would stay again.

Property under construction so in 2-3 months the property will most likely be improved. Staff was great, location was perfect, and pub and garden is delightful. Great value and quaint town.

The room carpet and bedding was clean but the walls were marked, the door frame looked as though the door had been kicked in at some point. The handrails on the stairs were sticky and the hallways looked grim. Breakfast was a bit dismal for a continental brmreakfast and the croissants were not fresh Staff were friendly and helpful offering to take bags up the stairs. Had we know how far up the room was we'd have accepted the offer. Free parking was available at the rear of rhe hotel and it was perfectly placed for an event at the coronation hall. Adequate accommodation for one night. But wouldn't have wanted to be there any longer and would ask for a lower level room if booking again.
