Absolutely loved my stay at Sjøberg Ferie! The setting is beautiful, but it’s the people who made it such a memorable experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and kind—the sort of people who make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The waterfront is gorgeous, with charming little sailboats, rolling hills and sheep grazing in the surrounding countryside. Sitting outside on the deck with a cold beer and watching those incredible sunsets was one of the highlights of my trip. It’s such a peaceful place to slow down and enjoy Norway’s beauty. The food was okay, and the beer was cold and very good, but the hospitality was exceptional. They even offered me a fishing rod so I could head down to the wharf and fish for mackerel! That simple gesture says so much about the people here. What stayed with me most was the feeling of being surrounded by kind, trustworthy people who wanted me to enjoy my stay. Thank you to everyone at Sjøberg Ferie for making it so special. An absolutely amazing experience, and somewhere I would happily return to!

Great hotel in the centre of Stavanger close to all attractions. Clean and comfortable, with large rooms and big windows. Breakfast, fika and dinner were part of the booking, which made our stay in Stavanger much simpler. The breakfast buffet has lots of options, with good coffee and quality teas also to choose from. Dinner is a single main changing every day, along with choices salads and soups. Overall we were very impressed by the hotel. Being in the centre of town there is a bit of noise at the weekend from the pubs below.
