There’s something for the whole family to enjoy in the local area, from idyllic market towns and sleepy villages to ancient houses and spectacular views. Lace up your walking boots to conquer the rolling moorland, steep-sided dales and rolling green hills of the Peak District National Park, just 10 miles from the doorstep. For more gentle strolls, the countryside villages of Rocester and Denstone can both be reached within 2 miles. Uncover the rich history of the local area at Sudbury Hall and the National Trust Museum of Childhood (10 miles) or enjoy a variety of activities including walking, cycling, bird watching, sailing and windsurfing at Carsington Water, 13 miles away. All your creature comforts are at your fingertips in the open-plan lounge, kitchen, dining and sleeping area at the heart of this beautiful home-away-from-home. Throw open the large patio-style front door to enjoy the soothing sounds of the breeze as you sit back and relax on the plush sofa, which can be converted into a bed to accommodate an additional two guests. Perfectly placed for you to catch up with your favourite programme on the Smart TV, the farmhouse-style dining table is the ideal spot to enjoy some tasty treats with a glass of something chilled. The kitchen is bursting with contemporary country cottage style touches, as well as everything budding chefs need to get creative. Tucked away in a quiet spot at the back of the pod, you’ll find a sumptuous double bed, whilst a cosy single bed can be found at the front of the pod. From sunrise to sunset, the stylish, contemporary shower room provides everything you need to feel refreshed. Make the most of your stunning surrounding scenery by dining alfresco on the open front patio, which features outdoor dining furniture. You also have access to a stunning shared undercover seating area with pizza oven, perfect for long summer evenings, no matter the weather. The site also features an honesty shop selling a range of local produce and homemade items, as well as providing freezer storage for guests.
