"The room is an older hotel that has been modernized. All the switches are touch type, digital for the lights, climate control, and even when you enter the room, the curtains open automatically. A lot of nice touches in the roof top bar is awesome with a beautiful view. Great location, great staff who is on top of everything, then it shows what can be done with an older hotel to make it more matter it’s more of a boutique hotel, and we loved it so much when we came back a few days later we stayed for another night. Good value for the price also."

"Our room has a very nice view to the beach, its spacious and clean. Breakfast was okay, food is on the sweet side. Location was central, can be very busy outside the hotel at beach. Staff was okay. They forgot to give us our passport back (we travelled 24 hours to get to the hotel, I wasn't focus too), instead bring it to us, they told us to go down to get it. I wanted to have a drink at the beach front restaurant to enjoy the sunset, it was 5.30pm, restaurant was empty, but they won't allow me to sit and purchase drinks unless I go for BBQ dinner option. "

"Love this place so much. Away from a busy boracay station 3 and 2. The pools and amenities are wonderful. Wish we booked it for a week instead of just 4 nights. There's so much to explore in this resort itself. Highly recommend it if you want relaxation and peace. 😉 "

"I recently stayed at Seda Ayala Center Cebu, and while there were some positive aspects, there were also several issues that made the overall experience average. First, I want to say that the staff and service were very good. The employees were friendly, responsive, and did their best to address concerns when they were brought to their attention. The breakfast buffet, however, was fairly average and the selection was somewhat limited for my taste. Unfortunately, during one morning at the dessert station, I noticed a small cockroach on the desserts. I informed a staff member, and she quickly came over and removed it. I advised that the entire area should be replaced, and to their credit they did change the items in that section afterward. Still, seeing that in a food area was concerning. The gym was fine in terms of temperature, but the equipment itself was quite dated and could definitely use an upgrade. As for the hotel itself, it feels quite dated overall. The hallways still have older carpeting from when the building used to operate as a Marriott, and the lighting on the floors is very dim, giving the hallways a somewhat gloomy feel. The exterior windows and outside areas also looked like they could use a good cleaning. My room itself was clean, and thankfully I didn’t encounter any pests there. However, the toilet flush was weak, which seems to be a common issue in many places locally. Another disappointment was the lack of an on-site pool. I was not aware before bo"

"Fili Hotel is a great hotel. The check-in was smooth with very friendly and polite staff. I gave it a 4 star because of a mishap we encountered during our stay. We initially only booked for an overnight stay but decided to extend our stay for another night. Everything was great. I loved the room set-up and the bathroom. The toilet was a modern, high-tech Japanese toilet bowl with electronic bidets. The bath tub was a good size too. We stayed in a double room with a sea-view. I really loved the view and the sunrise. 💕 There was a couch near the floor to ceiling window and it can turn into a sofa-bed. On our second day, my mother noticed something peaking out of the corner of the sofa. It wasn't easily visible as the color was the same as design on the carpets. When she pulled it out of the sofa, it was a used cond*m. O_O We had little girls staying with us, they saw the item and got nosy right away hence we immediately threw it. I asked for the room to be cleaned. Didn't make a fuss about it and just told the reception staff in person rather than through the phone to avoid miscommunication. The incident was addressed swiftly and the manager on duty apologised for what happened. It was no one's fault. The incident can help with improving the way the cleaning team prepares the rooms for the next guests in the future. I have to admit, when I saw the used item, I was disgusted and my imagination was betraying me. >_< Overall, Fili Hotel is excellent. Not perfect but close enough."
