“The address is currently incorrect, but the correct address is a few doors away. There is a somewhat narrow time window when staff are present to receive you, between 2:30 pm and 7 pm, unless you make specific arrangements with them. The room and bathroom were fine and there is a common area kitchen. If on foot, the location of the hotel within the walled historic city is fine, not far from the central square but up a hill. Restaurants are also nearby. The bus stop to the nearest train……

“Very unlikely in 2023 to think of proposing a luxury experience in a 19th century villa without air conditioning, with the gardener who at 2pm invites you to clear the patio in front of the pool where you and your company are sipping an ice-cold drink after a 3-hour journey below 35°C because he has to mow the lawn and, last but not least, the absence of bidets is fine in France and Germany but please not in Italy! On the other hand, the assistance and helpfulness of Reception was excellent.”

“We loved our stay at Villa Il Fedino. A beautiful property in a perfect location with easy access to Chianti and its towns and wineries. The service was over-the-top outstanding, with each family member and staff member being so unbelievably kind and friendly. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had. And the team went out of their way to help us make same-day reservations for tastings and dinner. Would highly recommend. ”

“When we arrived at the property we had so many questions about the area! The staff was helpful and answered all of our questions with great patience. We only stayed for 1 night, but wish we had booked for more nights. We toured Siena during the day, but came back to the property for a beautiful sunset and dinner. The food was delicious, our suite was pristine, parking was easy. Be sure to drive around to see the horses in the back of the property. The next morning when we checked out,……

“We stayed here for 10 nights and thoroughly enjoyed the Villa, the Tuscan ambiance and the close proximity to Volterra. The house manager, Allisandro (Alex) was a great host. Flawless communication, friendliness, attention to our needs and providing local advice were all excellent and appreciated.”

“The place is in the middle of a huge green area, ideal for those who want peace and quiet location. We were in group of 19 and there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. Marco, the owner, is very attentive to all details and always around to help. House ammenities were a plus for those rainy days when we could not visit sorrounding Tuscan cities.”

“We loved our stay. The property is gorgeous, tucked away in the beautiful hills of Tuscany. The view in the morning with the sun coming up was incredibly picturesque. Worth noting that the property is located in the hills and out of the way of any amenities but it does have a Conad (supermarket) about 25-30 mins away. Place is clean and well organised, plenty of towels etc.”
