You will be in walking distance to a multitude of restaurants, museums, & activity in Old town while having your own backyard oasis including a hot tub. Located just minutes from Washington, D.C., voted one of Travel + Leisure’s Best Cities in the U.S. 2023, and one of The South’s Best Cities 2024 by Southern Living. You will find restaurants with waterfront views, as well as numerous boat tours and water taxis that can take you to multiple scenic locations within the area. This is a perfect location if you want to stay in a safe neighborhood that is close, but not too close to the hustle & bustle of the D.C. area. You can travel easily by walking, bike, or 2 metros located within walking distance. This is a private house with no shared spaces. You have access to your own kitchen, living room, bathroom, laundry room, and three bedrooms over approximately 1584 square ft You will be delighted with everything you need for a cozy stay. The location is so convenient, you can walk everywhere and leave your car in the driveway. The accommodations were clean, modern, and pet friendly for our dog. The home was very clean, nicely furnished and really enjoyed the fireplace. TV’s had all kinds of Apps loaded and Direct TV so finding college and NFL games was easy. Hot tub was used each day and the backyard has Edison lights always keeping yard well lit. We brought our two small dogs and they loved looking out the windows watching all the pet owners walking by with their dogs. Large kitchen area was very well stocked with coffee and owner had local bakery cookies out for our arrival. Son got engaged on the trip and owner was extremely accommodating and had bottle of champagne for the big event! The location is ideal for walking down to King Street shops and restaurants. Easy to drive into DC as well. I’ll definitely look at staying here again when we are in town visiting. Peter is the BEST HOST we have ever encountered in our years of staying in vacation rentals. From the ease of booking, to his generosity of home made cookies from a local Old Town Bakery, chilled on ice bubbly, ice cold sodas, Gatorade, yogurt and so much more !! We accidentally locked ourselves out and Peter responded in minutes to get us back inside. This beautiful home is short of gorgeous, with all of the upgrades you’d expect in a newly constructed home!! The kitchen is to live for, the bedrooms are splendid and comfortable, the backyard is private, relaxing and so very well thought out!! We will stay here again, it literally felt like our home away from home!! The host was very welcoming and did a wonderful job with communication. The property has a great kitchen and a beautiful fireplace. We didn't get into the hot tub sadly but also found it very dog-friendly.
