“Every year we take or granddaughter away for her birthday gift! We loved the Yurt, she loved the animals and being in the woods! The size was just right for us. We felt t like we were in a fairy tale house!!! Very quaint!! Plus having electricity, WiFi and beds was extremely helpful!!”

“Cozy little cabin. It was chilly & raining during our trip, so we were bummed we didn’t get to kayak or use the firepit, but the cabin had propane heat that kept us nice and warm. The bed was comfortable, and hosts supplied everything you would need. Great location a short drive from everywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend! ”

“Perfect spot to explore the finger lakes region- easy access to the lakes, Ithaca, Trumansburg and Watkins Glen. The house was a perfect fit for us-stayed cool even on the hot days. Very peaceful and quiet. The sheep were fun to watch and just added to the restful atmosphere. The hammocks on the porch were the perfect place to relax. Would highly recommend visiting the Cornell arboretum and hiking the waterfall trails at the nearby state parks. We would definitely stay again! ”

“Nice cabin made out of rough cut lumber makes a nice family retreat. Love the building and location that appears to have been built by the owner. Plenty of room for 8 of us with beds with linens and room to spread out. It's on a small cliff side on the lake with a beautiful deck, stairs down to the water, and a dock on the water. I can't believe some old reviews criticize the amount of stairs? It's on a cliff side, what do they want ladders? Crazy. The stairs are very sturdy with a nice hand...

“My husband and I have stayed at this cabin three times now and it never disappoints! The location is perfect! Close to many nearby activities but away from the hustle and bustle. We enjoyed going to the Windmill, Oak Hill, a couple wineries, we went kayaking and fishing! It was a great weekend! Will definitely stay here again!”

You can tell every log was cut by hand with little personal touches added here and there over the years . It has Everything ya need and nothin ya don't. Its perfect. Beth and Chris we're extremely helpful with everything from check-in instructions to answering any questions I had and even giving me a history of the cabin upon check out. Five stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.
