The Monopol is very beautiful inside when you first arrive the bedroom I had this time around could use some serious upgrade. But it was good for an overnight stay

The hotel itself was fine but very basic. Small, no dining service and no ability to set the temperature in individual rooms. The area around it is not good. It is the first time I've seen people openly smoking crack on the streets during the morning (and evening) rush hours. Really not a good look for Frankfurt. Also, this hotel is located on a busy road with lots of emergency vehicles using sirens to get through the nearby intersection, so very noisy.
