“We were visiting the Christmas lights at Blenheim palace and decided to make a weekend of it and found the studio at Long Hanborough an ideal place to stay with it being so close and also with a railway station within walking distance to be able to get to Oxford for a visit. The studio contains everything you need for a short break and with the George and Dragon pub next door to top a wonderful weekend off”

“This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. In the comfort and peace of this hut in this location, I was able to write nearly 10,000 words, unheard of in my everyday busy life at home! “This place was amazing. It has been lovingly converted into accommodation with so much attention to detail that you don’t want to leave. The additional Christmas decorations were super cute and appreciated as well as the full service kitchen (with coffee and milk), games and fabulous top floor 360°window to watch the sunrise/sunset, wildlife etc. Highly recommend a stay here. ”
