Room was clean with a modern bathroom and comfortable.
We didn't spend time in the hotel bar or restaurant but did have a drink outside where there were some tables for diners. Service was fine, but when we got up to leave the next morning the reception and bar area were all locked up (8:30am). In the end I had to call the hotel to find out how to check out and was told to just leave the key in the room and go. This wasn't really an issue for us, but it would have been better to be told of these arrangements in advance.
We were only passing through Thetford and stayed on the way to an event the next day and it was fine for that, but Thetford itself was very disappointing to walk around. Not much there, no real restaurants and just run down pubs and cheap shops. Having previously stayed at Bury St Edmonds, the two feel worlds apart...
As a place for a one night stop over it was perfectly fine but better towns are close by...

"An overnight stay on our way to Norfolk. The in-house restaurant had a few vegan options. There was a nice pool and spa area, so it was ideal for a relaxing evening after a journey from Kent. Good value too!"

"I paid for a room with a window the window does not open. Was so hot no air on. The room was not clean stains on the bedding the floor was covered in dust and human hair. You go into the bathroom there was a huge nail sticking out on the floor. Booked 2 people only got 1 towel? The staff behind desk ..."
