“All in all we had a good stay there. Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there. It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. Did not realise it shares the fence with a funeral home which didn’t bother us but it bothered my Asian parents. The host, Lucy, is pleasant and responsive. "Exceptional service, but significant technical issues with elevators. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional, when the elevators are not working, he suggested to help us bring luggage downstairs which we stayed in 11/F. The parking lot is quite a distance from the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient. The biggest issue was the elevators. Only 1 was working during our stay, leading to very long wait times. Most disappointingly, there was a morning both elevators were out of service, which is unacceptable for a hotel."

"Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and had a good check-in experience. The staff were friendly, and we appreciated being upgraded to a better room, which was a nice touch. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. Firstly, there was no internal door lock in the room. On the afternoon of our check-in day, while we were resting in the room, a staff member unexpectedly opened the door to check the air conditioner without any prior notice. This was quite uncomfortable and affected our sense of security, making it difficult to sleep well that night. Greater attention to guest privacy and communication would be appreciated. Secondly, the power outlet layout in the room was inconvenient. Apart from the bathroom, there was only one power socket located under the TV, and none near the bed, which made charging devices at night very inconvenient. We booked a plan that included breakfast, but the actual breakfast was quite different from the photos shown on Hotels.com, which was disappointing. While it was acceptable as part of a breakfast-included package, it would not be good value if charged separately at AUD 35. Overall, the hotel has good potential, but improvements in room safety, layout, and transparency would greatly enhance the guest experience."
