"Staff were very kind. Free breakfast was nice! They also replenished my towels & left them at my door without me even asking, which was nice. My only complaint was that it could’ve been a little bit cleaner. The bed runner on my bed as well as the carpet had multiple visible stains. The walls were also marked up a bit. However, other than that, everything seemed fairly clean. "
"Room was very spacious, bed and pillows were comfortable, and the location could not have been more central. The hotel had hundreds of restaurants and bars within walking distance and is close to a major rail station. However, even though in the middle of the hustle and bustle the building was very quiet and we were able to get excellent rest. Would absolutely stay here again if I come back to Kyoto. "
"This was a very central location to be based. Literally a few metres from a main area with lots of food and restaurant choices, 5-10 mins walk to the Geisha area, and about a 10 minutes walk to Kymiozu temple and a shopping street offering further food and restaurant choices as well as souvenirs. There were local buses available all along the street from the hotel and everywhere was easily accessed.
The hotel itself was clean and beds were very comfortable.
Would recommend it as an ideal location to be based for a visit to Kyoto."
