The AC unit did not work and they knew about it and did not let us know BEFORE we got the room. The beds are tiny. Primarily, there is an 'aged-odor,' like the paint, carpets, and woodwork (wardrobes in-room, banister, trimwork, etc.). However, the meeting area, and diningroom were clean and tidy; the desk-service great. Expedia advertised it as pet friendly and even allowed us to reserve a room with queen size beds. We had 4 adults and needed good rest from traveling. When we walked in with our dog, the manager (Genevive) barked at us and made my husband and dog wait outside in the 20 degree weather until we got checked in. Then, she down-graded us to full sized beds—their pet friendly room, but wouldn’t reimburse us the difference because we had paid through Expedia. Horrible customer service, and super unfriendly. The smaller beds disrupted our sleep. Had I been given correct information to begin with, I wouldn’t have stayed here. I don’t know if that’s on Expedia, or if it’s the hotel’s fault. They offered to put us on the 2nd floor instead, but there was no elevator. It took me 30 mins to find someone to check in. And then another 20 mins to find someone to check out.
