It's exceptionally crowded. We were there on weekend days and weekdays. The lot for the visitor center was full by 930-10AM and the lines from there just continued to back up. We easily sat in line once for over an hour just trying to leave the valley. It's hard to want to ditch your car and rely on shuttles, but it's worth the environmental impact and the headaches. Also, the bike rentals were awesome! What a lovely way to ditch the crowds/cars and experience the valley.
for a Sunday afternoon, there was no parking

The shuttle system is terrible. crowded Not convenient at all.
