"Very convenient location, super close to the MTR station and shopping malls. Staff were friendly and welcoming and there's free dispensable cold water available which was great. The room was very small but it was enough for what I needed and most importantly it was clean. Only negatives is the shower could do with a lightbulb as it was very dark and other guests can be quite loud sometimes."

"I've stayed at Ashoka Hostel before. If you are a budget traveler, I can't recommend this place enough. I needed a cheap place to stay while getting my visa updated last year. So I stayed here again. I stayed during the May holiday this time, which meant the price was more than $44 a night, but it was still a bargain. "Great location for exploring the sensory over loading Mong Kok area of Kowloon. Mong Kok subway station is very close by. The very nice Langham Mall is right across the street and its Asian food court is literally accessible from a bridge between the Cordis lobby and the mall. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the service is outstanding. I didn't have a chance to try their fancy restaurants but they looked good. I think this hotel is good value. "
