The best area to stay in Zarnowska is along Lake Zarnowiec, particularly in the village of Nadolnik, which offers a blend of natural beauty and recreational activities.

Nadolnik is situated directly on the eastern shore of Lake Zarnowiec, providing easy access to the water and surrounding forests. It's known for its peaceful environment and opportunities for outdoor pursuits. The village itself is small, with a few local eateries and direct access to hiking and cycling paths that wind around the lake.

For families, Nadolnik is an excellent choice due to its calm waters and family-friendly activities. There are designated swimming areas, opportunities for kayaking and paddleboarding, and open spaces for children to play. The nearby hydroelectric power plant offers an interesting educational visit, and the viewing tower provides panoramic views of the lake and the Baltic Sea.

Couples looking for a relaxing escape will also find Nadolnik appealing. The serene lakeside setting is ideal for quiet walks, boat trips, and enjoying sunsets over the water.

The best time to visit Zarnowska is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and sunny, great for outdoor activities.

During this period, you'll experience average temperatures ranging from 68°F to 77°F (20°C to 25°C). The long daylight hours allow for extended exploration of the nearby Baltic Sea coast, including popular beaches like those in Łeba, which is just a short drive away. This time is ideal for families and couples looking to enjoy the natural beauty and recreational opportunities of the region.

Should you prefer a quieter experience with cooler temperatures, late spring (May) and early autumn (September) also offer pleasant conditions. Temperatures typically range from 50°F to 65°F (10°C to 18°C), and while the sea might be too cool for swimming, it's an excellent time for hiking, cycling, and exploring the Słowiński National Park without the peak season crowds.
