There was no pool. There are 2 buildings. We were placed at one without a reception area and we had to walk to the other building for breakfast and to check in and out. Our room was very bleak - without decor. It resembled a college dorm room. "The good elements: This hotel is very well located in Portoroz and the staff was very welcoming and helpful! Quite a lot of options for the free breakfast.
The downsides: The hotel needs a total renovation as it is quite outdated. Smelly carpets in both hallways and rooms. The wifi was up and down. The elevators were very slow and long waits. "The property was quite new and very modern looking. The rooms were lovely and spacious with super comfy beds. We had a bit of trouble with the lock on the door but the staff came and fixed it straight away. Our safe in the room also hadn’t been unlocked for us to use. Other than these small things it was an amazing stay."
