Grover Island Beach Vacations

You need to experience for yourself. It's that great. 40 year returning customer. Just wonderful place. Make sure you put a needed prayer request in the chapel box.

We stayed in the oleander building (didn’t realize it wasn’t the main hotel.) It was a short walk but we thought we were getting the resort view from our balcony. We got there at 4:30 pm and our room still wasn’t ready so they told us we could come back later, they didn’t text until around 6:30 saying it was ready. We walked in and it REAKED of smoke. Told the front desk and they offered to move us to a different room but it was in an even farther building so we declined. They sent someone out with carpet deodorizer and we left the balcony door open to air it out. Rooms are outdated and old, lights flicker and AC isn’t the best. We also found a live cockroach in the bathroom. And I saw some dead ones around the resort. The Echo restaurant is awful and way too expensive. They brought me doughy waffles that weren’t edible. There was only one guy working the pool area for drinks/food, so we walked up to the area where he was making the drinks and waited about 20 min. If you sit in the back he never made his way over there to take drink orders. The only thing good about this place is the pool and hot tub! But honestly could prob find a better place. Don’t think we will come back here for the price we paid!

Clean and spacious

We enjoyed our visit. When we got there our room was not ready so they offered us free dinner and drinks on them! The restaurant on the second floor is a secret gem! The food was amazing and the service from Ryan was awesome. Ryan also helped us with getting someone to clean our room. Location was great! It was right across the street from the beach! Another secret gem was the other restaurant on the top floor where they have food and drinks and entertainment!
