Japan Historic Vacations

ok

Too expensive for what it offeres and the small of mold was not good.

The room was clean and a bit larger than other rooms in this price range.

I didn’t enjoy our stay in this hotel. Washroom wasn’t clean enough. There were hair strands in the washroom. Please do not make the same mistake that I did. I booked a SMOKING room for 2 by accident. It was terrible. It stank. The moment the elevator opened, you could smell the cigarette smoke on 11th floor. Thank God we were only booked for one night. THE STAFF WERE WONDERFUL THO.

I recently stayed here and had an okay stay. It's an old property but it's decently maintained even though it could use some refurbishing. The rooms are huge. I stayed in the Super Double Room and it was a very large, especially as a solo traveler. The bed was comfortable and I had no trouble sleeping. Breakfast was really good, lots of options, both Japanese and western. The location is just okay, it's far from the centre of Osaka and you cannot walk anywhere, but the subway is nearby which was convenient. I used the onsen and sauna and they were great, though I did think it was strange that hotel guests have to pay an extra fee to use the facilities. Regardless, it was still worth it. There was an incident, where one of the cleaning staff dropped one of my skincare bottles and broke the cap, but I guess it was my fault for leaving a wet glass bottle in the shower. They put it back together so I didn't notice right away it was actually broken. I thought it was a bit odd they didn't leave me a note explaining the situation but they did leave me extra skincare packets to make up for it. I thought I could salvage the cap and a couple lovely staff members were able to tape it back up for me and carefully wrap up the bottle so I could take it with me. Despite my initial annoyance I appreciated that they were so helpful. The real standout of this hotel is the service and the staff. You can tell that they really take their roles seriously.

A good hotel with spa. Traditional breakfast buffet is well worth the stay along with general accommodations and helpful staff.
