Great ocean view, clean room, excellent location. Outdoor and indoor spa, steam room and sauna was good too.

This is such an amazing find. Our usual stays weren’t available so after several searches we found Pacific Views Resort. What a find. Great value, such beautifully maintained and presented accomodation overlooking the ocean and a 3-5 min walk from the best village centre with bars, cafes, restaurants and an IGA, bakery etc. we will most definitely be back. There is also a cafe just below the hotel which was amazing. And if you have serious food allergies, it’s fully able to accomodate.

Convenient location with a few amenities (restaurants, shops, lightrail) closeby. We had lovely views of the water from our mid level until allocated. Check in and reception service was smooth, but opening hours were minimal, and so were any further assistance for questions and other matters for the stay. Parking was a complete joke, and the underground carpark is a tortuous blind maze. Left access was pretty poor, especially when one of two lifts were utilized for removalist, trades, and other sevices. Unit was suuny, light, and comfortable(somewhat minimally) furnished, but room amenities were old, broken, and unhygenic. Althought superficially clean, our unit was in desperate need of a deep clean. We found dust balls, gritty/sticky(caked on dust) carpet, and dead/live cockroaches with associated droppings in all areas of the kitchen. Perhaps a regular schedule of deep clean (carpet shampoo, wipe inside cupboards, pest treatment, dryclean throws/cushions/couch) would have made a difference. First 2days of our stay was spent buying cleaning products and additionally cleaning the unit. Our scheduled weekly “service” didnt turn up, and reception wasnt able to specify a time for their visit. For the price, I think there are better accomodation options, and we are unlikely to return.

Everything went fine over the weekend. We only had one small blip over breakfast. We booked for 2 adults and 2 kids - giving our kids age of 14 when we booked. When we went to breakfast, the breakfast staff said breakfast was only including kids, which is 12 years and under. We were always clear on the kid's ages so I'm not sure why they weren't included in the 'breakfast included' option. Very confusing. This should be made very clear when booking as the breakfasts at the hotel is very expensive - over $50 a person!

The property itself is very well positioned. We stayed in an apartment on the 30th floor with excellent (though slightly obstructed) ocean views. The balcony and floor to ceiling windows were lovely. The property was very clean and for the most part very comfortable. We felt the kitchen was poorly equipped for a 2 bed apartment. It had no bread knife, chopping board, place mats or coasters. Some of the kitchen cupboards , although modern, were poor quality and somewhat distorted and cracked. We found the bed to be uncomfortable, but it was ok for the 2 nights we stayed. We really didnt like the no-contact check in process. The Check in information only arrived 10 minutes before check-in time. We were driving and had to pull over to find out where to park. The parking instructions were unclear as there were at least three parking entrances. How we were supposed to understand that P4 means level 4 (which was below, not above, P3) and not a reference to carpark 4 I'm not sure. In trying to phone to contact number all you get is a voice message telling you to email them. That check in process is obviously more geared to benefit QStay than guest convenience.

That outdoor pool was great.
