Beautiful room with luxury touches and perfect walkable location to great restaurants and shopping. Room turnover service every day, which is rare since Covid. No elevator, so keep that in mind if you get a 2nd floor room. The continental breakfast reminded me of what you get in Europe--fresh fruit and pastries. In room Nespresso coffee maker sure beats the Keurig-types. I would definitely stay here again.

I would describe this as a cross between a condo rental & a hotel room. Room was exceptionally pretty, thoroughly cleaned every day, and the kitchenette had everything we needed. However, when we got there to check in at about 8:00pm, I found out that there is no front desk or concierge. Had to call someone offsite to get into the lockbox to get our key card, which I had not anticipated. However, on the other hand, I called the offsite number early one morning due to a clogged toilet and a...

While only a short overnight stay, we had one for the books. Driving to our next stop we were about 1 1/2 away when we realized we left cash in the open safe in our room. It was up high and hard to check. I called the hotel to secure it and the manager told me he had it and we have it put into safe keeping to we returned.
When we got back they called security to deliver the funds to us. Not a penny was missing and when I offered a reward they refused it saying it would not feel...

All was great, the private jets parking near the pool was a novelty, but not good for trying to have a conversation! It did drown out the kids screaming @ the pool though. the plane noise wasn't heard from inside he hotel or rooms.

Great visit and the Hampton Inn was a distinct pleasure. Close to everything; excellent friendly staff. This is my fourth visit to the island and I won't stay anywhere else.

The parking spaces are limited and getting out into the road is almost impossible when trying to leave. There's no visibility and no other decent place to park as a guest.
Otherwise, there is no more convenient place to stay location-wise. Very vintage and historical to the greatest little island in the world.

We went for our 33rd wedding anniversary and were pleasantly surprised at the beauty of property, and how well maintained it is. We loved our room and we had a lovley balcony. It was very nice listening to the evening music from our balcony. Our bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was wonderful to have a refrigerator for cold drinks. However, the coffee maker in the room should be thoroughly cleaned in-between each guest. We are tea drinkers and everyday there were coffee grounds in our...

Staying at Epworth was perfect. It wasn't crowded; the area was quiet and lovely, only a short drive from the public beach and a grocery store. I was able to recharge a bit after a trying 6 months in Atlanta.

A small delay in check in, however; the beautiful room made it totally worth it. Great little continental breakfast. Met manager, Jamie. She did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend; walk across the street to the beach, short walk to village and shops.

There not much I can say bad about this resort, On arrival I was over 2 hours early and they assign me a room that was clean as the one assign to me was not clean yet. The staff was excellent very polite and being it was my first time there and on St Simon Island they inform me of stuff to do where things were and provided a map and book on all the restaurant's everybody I came into contact with was very polite and answer all my questions.

Everything was very clean, however there is a lot of noise from the highway and our room didn’t even face the road. Breakfast was just ok typical fare provided by all hotels

Very nice hotel. Restaurants, attractions and shopping are within walking distance. This is a historic landmark that is well maintained. My only complaint is that everything was extremely expensive. Be prepared to be price gouged.

Amazing. Truly relaxing and Joanne and her family make you feel right at home. Clean, beautiful, peaceful, and the best sweet potato pancakes for breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed our quick getaway.
