    Accessed by a private flight of stairs, this cozy upstairs studio transports you into a fun western-inspired hideaway. After a day exploring the beach, unwind on comfortable leather seating, stream your favorite shows, or settle into the plush queen bed for a restful night's sleep.

    The fully equipped kitchen features full-size appliances, making it easy to prepare meals during your stay. Prefer dining out? Some of St. Simons Island's most popular restaurants, shops, bars, and attractions are just a five-minute walk away in Pier Village.

    The spacious bathroom includes a large walk-in shower, providing comfort and convenience after a day of sun, sand, and sightseeing.

Great stay in a great location

The property was perfect for myself and pup. Nearby a large open park for walking the pup, nearby dog park, walking distance to the pier and shops/restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood. The rental was very private and quiet.

Every Little Thing - Great

This efficiency apartment was clean, nicely decorated and in a great location. We loved being able to walk to the village dining and shopping. Also liked that there is a great park a few steps away were we could walk our dog. The only thing that would have been nice is a chest of drawers or similar to unbuckle for long stays. (We were there 11 days). We would definitely stay there again!

A delightful, well equipped and charming stay!

We loved this western bunkhouse great room just minutes by foot to downtown, the lighthouse. The details fascinated me (as a hobbyist woodworker), and the western theme was well executed. We love SSI for our midtrip break when we travel to Florida, and this offering will always be a first choice for us in the future. Well done!

Second Stay

We love this location and setup. However, during our stay, there was a cleanliness issue. Specifically, some bugs showed up on a warm day after a cold snap. We informed the host, and they assured us it was a fluke occurrence. You cannot beat this location.

Clean, and safe. Unfortunately the basement and bedrooms did not have locks on the doors, so there was direct access from outside to the bedroom. Need deadbolts to be installed for an enhanced sense of security. Area was safe so not a huge deal.AC shut off one night, had to get someone to come work on it.Occasional bugs downstairs.

Mother-Daughter vacay

My teenage daughter and I stayed Sat-Tuesday and loved the location. It's a loft apartment above a new three car garage. Must be able to do stairs, but it was great for us. Nice fenced yard and a beautiful wooded park across the street is perfect for pets. Short two blocks to Pier Village and all of the shops and restaurants, a mile to beaches. Our only complaint was the size and location of the TV. It's in the dining area, and should be over in the living area/bed area to make it comfy to watch a movie at night. Decor and entire loft was clean, and felt like home! Would love to stay here again

Wonderful retreat

We adored our stay at this St. Simon’s above-garage apartment (my husband, dog, and me). it is so spacious and I love arranged it to feel cozy. It is a true studio but much bigger than any studio I’ve ever seen. We walked anytime we went out to dinner or breakfast, and there is a big field where we walk with our dog. We probably could’ve walked to the beach as well but didn’t want to haul our stuff. This place is true to the listing in all ways, so you’ll definitely want to bring your own beach towels, chairs and any disposable kitchen ware (like ziploc bags for packing beach sammies, which we forgot to pack!). I suspect we’ll be back to stay in this cottage apartment in the future.
