Weekend getaways in Cathedral City

I wish I could give this hotel more than 5 stars! It was absolutely perfect. From all the small details, to comfort to convenience to friendly staff, this place has it all. If you like that”special” feel of a small boutique hotel, this one will not disappoint!

Such a lovely perfectly sized boutique hotel near downtown Palm Springs. Rooms are big and homelike and the grounds are cozy. The pool stays open for those midnight dips.

Beautiful place with hammocks and a courtyard pool. Viewing deck allows great views over the mountains and the stars at night. Rooms were spotless, and to my great surprise they had the most powerful water pressure in the shower that I think I have ever experienced. Real firehouse effect. Great breakfast basket and coffee in the morning. Nearby antique shops are a hoot. Ream gem of a place.

Very nice hotel, great customer service, well kept, clean rooms and convenient location to all cities in the valley.

It was clean, breakfast was included which was great, staff was nice. Easy parking. We would return. AC worked great in 100 degree weather. There was a mini keurig stocked with k cups. Option to log into your streaming services was a nice plus.

Perfect spot in Cathedral City. Spacious rooms, full kitchen and barbecue and attentive staff, makes this a place I would keep coming back to with family.

Stayed here for my first Coachella music festival and really enjoyed my stay. The suite was large and clean with a great view. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, giving me the directions I needed before I even asked! My only complaint would be that the AC in the room was kinda loud when it started up, it was set to a certain temperature and would stop and start periodically.

Large common area many hot tubs, helpful staff. I dont have much else to say. I had an enjoyable stay.

Great place, love the pool! Room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. We like the decorations in the room. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location close to restaurants and transportation.

It is rather isolated in a new area, but that made it quiet. Breakfast was excellent

We’ve stayed at Villa Royale many times over the last five or so years and it remains our favorite place to stay in Palm Springs. The rooms and common areas have been thoughtfully renovated to feel mid-century yet stylish with modern amenities. Most of the rooms feel suite-like with nice kitchenette/bar areas. The three saltwater pools are all heated and always quiet (thanks to the 21 only property). The hotel is very dog friendly and has a large private green lawn that’s used for events but it...

The website doesn’t even do this property justice! What an experience. We felt like we were transported into an alternate reality and team with lemon and grapefruit trees ripe right outside my door, the most charming room with a quaint kitchen and outdoor shower… the people who work there couldn’t have been more accommodating and fun. Safety is a priority there - my fiance showed up unexpectedly and flew in to surprise me and they did their due diligence to make sure he was vetted and walked...
