1) front desk staff needs customer service training - general manager Bill Pomales was accusatory and rude in front of our children - absolutely unprofessional and not appropriate 2) the pool and jacuzzi was dirty not clean 3) the fitness center bathroom was broken and the building has multiple plumbing problems 4) our room had leaking pipes 5) the hotel needs a major remodeling and updates 6) the positive was breakfast was good and the cleaning ladies were good - management is terrible !!
We liked the room size and the bathroom amenities. We also liked that the pool was quiet abs had a beautiful mountain view. The rest was a bit dated. The surroundibg area had some shady people near an auto shop and gas station so that was the only disappointment but our stay in the hotel was pleasant.

Several restaurants close by and friendly helpful staff
The elevators and hallways were warm, no air. The air conditioner in our room did not work well therefore we were pretty hot at night. Pool area was dirty as people and kids left food and empty containers on floor. People were swimming with their clothes, t shirts, jean shorts, etc. so the pool looked a little dirty. The gyms treadmill did not work and vending machine was out of order. I would not return to this Holiday Inn,
All I can say is that our stay was pleasant and staff are very nice and helpful. Will book again here on our next visit in the desert. Thanks to the staff who helped me during our stay.
