Crewe Vacations from $369

We were booked into the hotel through Spinnaker Vacations for which we prepaid for our stay...except upon check-in we discovered that we would still have to pay another $110 for the hotel's "resort fee". Other than a wonderful pool with a separate kids pool the resort activities were unimpressive. The fee also cover parking, which, if you are not a hotel guest, they charge for even though you are a half mile from the historic area. As an aside, you now have to pay for parking at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center which is located adjacent to the hotel) Our room was a king suite and was very spacious and nice with a separate sitting room with tv. The bed was comfortable and there was daily housekeeping service. This is a large, three story hotel with many rooms so depending where your room is located you may have a long walk to the elevator, ice machine, pool and lobby. The number of guests becomes a problem during the morning continental breakfast period as there are too many people for the number of inside seats available. There is an outside patio with seating but at the time of our visit it was overtaken with bees and you couldn't have food out there or they would be in your food in seconds.

We enjoyed the property. We choice the room on expedia website expecting one of the larger room apartment style rooms but we ended up with a smaller hotel room. You have to pay an extra fee if you want a 1 bedroom room. Wasn't fully clear based on pictures. We could hear the other guest at night. Visited the eagle restaurant. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The light fixtures outdide above the tables has lots of spider web's. Need to be cleaned. The room was clean. Air conditioner was noisy. Enjoyed our stay otherwise. Gym and pools were great. The pump for the lazy river and hot tubs were not on, but sgaun still enjoyed our stay.

I rented two, two-bedroom units (condominiums). The units were large and nicely appointed. Kitchen was well equipped. Very pleased with the facility.
