“I don’t usually leave reviews but I needed to on this one because so many reviews are negative for this little motel! Please keep in mind that it’s a MOTEL! If you are expecting a swanky hotel, move on. This is a clean, affordable and convenient motel along the 127 yardsale route! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The area is safe and convenient. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy, and there are lots of close dining option. I have zero complaints to list! ”

“Beautifully renovated home that still kept its older charm. Comfortable and very clean. We really enjoyed our week there. Lots of things to do or see in the area. This home was exactly what we were hoping for. Outdoor deck with comfortable seating and a gas firepit was the perfect spot to watch the fireflies at night. And enough room for our family to spread out after a day of exploring. ”

“Everything was easy & laid back. We went for a 3 mile walk that ended at a most peaceful (& free) boat launch into Lake Cumberland; surrounded by forests. The property is conveniently located to stores & restaurants, but totally private & secluded. Perfect!”

“We had a wonderful time with family hanging out at the house when we weren’t on the lake. There was plenty of room in the driveway to turn around the boat without any issues. Very clean property and quick response when any questions needed to be answered. The kids loved the fire pit and making s’mores. We will definitely stay again if we come to Dale Hollow for the weekend. ”

“Wisdom was a great experience. After years of staying at another marina being disappointed this was an excellent change of pace. Having the cabins come with a dedicated dock slip we could walk right to was excellent. The cabins were clean and the AC works great. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, Ms. Angie was so sweet to our son. We will be back soon!”
