“When I arrived at the Butler House, the owner (MK) informed me that it was actually closed for renovations. Expedia had been repeatedly informed of this but continued, nonetheless, to book reservations for guests! MK was very apologetic and offered me accommodation in the camper beside the house. “The "apartment" is really the top two floors of a split-level home. Very large, clean rooms. The updated kitchen has more than I needed to prepare meals before heading out on the wine trail which is right outside your door. The house is surrounded by vineyards and is very peaceful. Xinni was very responsive to our requests. Would definitely return and recommend to friends.”

“The view of the sunset over the lake can’t be beat. Remember it’s dog friendly, so keep that in mind if you’re allergic! Also note this is the top floor of a larger unit, and the lawn with fire pit by the water is not as big as the booking photo made it seem. There are multiple properties close by. We didn’t use the fire pit due to rain, geese, and mosquitos. Despite that, the fire pit and porch views are unbeatable. The hot tub was nice and big enough for two. The bedrooms are just big enough……

“This was a great property to stay at! I couldn’t have asked for anything different. What stood out the most was how clean everything was and how friendly the host was; all our questions were answered promptly and the host was exceedingly helpful. Overall great place to stay!”

“Our group stayed Friday night through Sunday morning. Our cottage was very clean and beautifully decorated. There are multiple cottages on the property with grills, picnic tables, a communal fire pit, as well as docks if you will be bringing a boat. Rachel was very prompt at answering any questions we had. We had a great time!”
