“A beautiful hotel in a lovely setting with the sound of the river when you sat on the terrace. The staff were exceptional and always ready to help with any request. The room was very comfortable, lovely big bed and superb bathroom.”

“Wonderful pub and accommodation. The people are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This 16th century public house still supports many original features making its atmosphere charming. The room was fairly small, a double bed and the small wardrobe made it tight to get to the bathroom but it was very clean and comfortable. Street Parking is available in front of the pub for free but only from 6pm till 9am so you need to move the car at 9am. The food was good but pricier than either of the 2……

The town is stone throw away from the property with few food options. Superstore next door is huuuuugeeee bonus. Overall very good. Highly recommend ”

“We had a brilliant stay here just after Christmas for 6 nights. The cottage was spotless, really comfortable, and had everything we needed—it felt like a proper home away from home. The kids absolutely loved feeding the farm animals every morning (so did we!) it was such a fun way to start the day and definitely made the stay extra special. Carolyn and Carl were fantastic hosts—so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. We’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family……
